Okay, so we're all guilty of stereotyping people and things in the past. For me, I really feel guilty about it.

So, even though it's not a big thing - there is in fact a 'fight' you could say, against Labelism.

Well, there's probably more than one out there. But one of my best friends back in PA actually started her own little 'campaign' for that in her school. Even made an article in the local newspaper. (You Stroudsborgians should know of it!)

And wore a belt everyday that bore a hundred or little so signatures of people against stereotyping and labelism. I even signed it.

Doing those actions can be hurtful to other people. You're basically telling them who they are. That's not right.

So...your opinions?

(Although, for me I can't get over the labeling of 'preps' (guy and girl alike), 'cheerleaders', and then for some reason I have some strange fascination with 'emos'. But, I'm slowly trying to get past doing that.)

(That's actually a link to the article. So, yeah. That girl's one of my best friends. Heck...there's another article she stars in, but isn't the 'star' off. And then a third one where there's only a picture article on her in the article herself.

The link below is the main other article about her. Even though it's something different from the topic...

I swear, when she's older, she's going to be some kind of revolutionary. Razz )
